Alistair is Street Cat HUB’s Meow of the Month for May. He came to us from a rural New Mexico hoarding situation where he had been living with close to 100 cats and three dogs. Found hiding inside the walls, Alistair was scared, uncomfortable, and suffering from a severe skin condition that caused intense scratching and fur loss.

Today, Alistair is healing under medical care, his black long fur is growing back, and Nine Lives Rescue NM is helping him find a medical foster or experienced adopter. His story shows why TNR work matters, and why rescue partnerships give vulnerable cats the second chance they deserve.
