Kitten Season Is Here. TNR Matters.

Too Many Kittens Are Born Outside

Kitten season and TNR are directly connected. When community cats are not spayed or neutered, kittens are born outdoors into heat, traffic, illness, predators, and hunger.

In the first two weeks of June, Street Cat Hub received more than 35 kittens. Some were healthy enough to move to rescue partners. Others needed treatment for upper respiratory infections, eye infections, and other medical needs.

That number tells a clear story: kitten season is hard on everyone, but it is hardest on the cats.

TNR Stops the Cycle

TNR prevents future litters before they are born. One spayed female will never have another litter outside. One neutered male will no longer add to the growing population.

Every cat who comes through TNR means fewer kittens struggling to survive later.

You Can Help

If you are feeding community cats, now is the time to act. Don’t wait until kittens are hiding under a shed, in a yard, or near a busy road.

Sign up for TNR with Street Cat Hub. You can help reduce the number of kittens born outdoors and give community cats a safer, healthier future.

Help Street Cat HUB save the next family.
