Volunteer Spotlight: Ann Antaramian-Feightner
Street Cat Hub is powered by volunteers who care about community cats, and Ann Antaramian-Feightner is one of those people.
Ann moved to Albuquerque one year ago, but she has lived many places, including Alaska, California, Oklahoma, and other states. She is also a Fresno State graduate and an Air Force veteran. Her last station was NAS Pensacola.
Why She Volunteers
Ann began volunteering at Street Cat Hub because of her love of cats. At home, she shares her life with her wife, Rikki, and their two cats, Idris and Hades.
At Street Cat Hub, she turns that love into action by helping with medical data entry, post-op care, and recovery.

Cats, People, and Something New Every Day
Ann’s favorite things about volunteering are the cats and the people. Every day is new, and that is part of what makes the work meaningful. Some days are busy. Some days are emotional. Some days bring tiny kittens, tough tomcats, or cats who simply need someone to care enough to help.
