Steven, a life-long resident of New Mexico, has an admirable history of community service and engagement. He was elected to the Albuquerque school board in 2013 and later served on the Bernalillo County Board of Commissioners beginning in 2017, where he held terms as both vice chair and chair. After County funding for Street Cat Hub (SCH) was recently reduced, Steven, in his role as County Commissioner, sponsored special funding for SCH to run a special spay/neuter event to TNR over 200 cats in Bernalillo County. His dedication to his community reflects his pride in his New Mexican heritage and his commitment to giving back through leadership, mentorship, and public service.

Steven is also an Emmy award winning actor, best known for his role as DEA Agent Steven Gomez on Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. A seasoned stand-up comedian, Quezada has performed in top venues nationwide, from The Laugh Factory to George Lopez’s Punchliner Comedy Club, and toured extensively across the U.S. In 2023, he launched Quezada’s Comedy Club & Cantina at the Santa Ana Star Casino, cementing his role as both performer and promoter of live comedy.
